​RULES FOR THE CELEBRATION OF QUINCEAÑERAS

The Quinceañera celebration is a Hispanic tradition in which one thanks God for the gift of life within the Eucharistic liturgy.

Quinceañeras are held once a month as a community. The teenager that comes first will have the opportunity to choose the desired date.​
 
The hours offered for Quinceañera Masses are 11:00 A.M. and 1:00 P.M. on Saturdays.

Quinceañeras must attend a catechesis required to participate in the Mass. This also includes the parents and godparents of honor.

On the day of the celebration, we ask parents, godparents and other youth to receive Holy Communion with her. Therefore, confessions should be done ahead of time and not left to until the last day. Confessions here at Madonna del Sasso are every Saturday from 2:30 P.M. - 3:30 P.M or by appointment. 

We are asking for an offering of $500.00 for the celebration of the Quinceañera. At the time of booking the date, we ask for a deposit of $100.00. The whole offering must be completely paid off within three months before the date fixed for the Mass. If the celebration is canceled, WE WILL NOT RETURN THE DEPOSIT. 

The office will not schedule the Quinceañera until the following documents are received: the BAPTISMAL and FIRST COMMUNION CERTIFICATE AND A DEPOSIT OF $100.00. If the Quinceañera has not made her First Communion, she will not be able to receive Communion, but a blessing. 

REHEARSAL: The date and time of the rehearsal will be on the week of the celebration. The Quinceañera, parents, godparents, escorts and young ladies should be at this practice. If you do not receive a call by Wednesday, you can contact the front office so that they can let Mr. Palacios know.

Please note: Both the choir and floral arrangements in the church will be provided by the parish. During Lent, there will not be flowers in the church.

NORMAS PARA LA CELEBRACION DE QUINCEAÑERAS

La celebración de quince años es una tradición hispana en la cual se da gracias a Dios por el don de la vida dentro de la liturgia eucarística.

Las celebraciones de quince años se llevan a cabo una vez al mes en forma comunitaria. La quinceañera que se presente primero tendrá la opurtunidad de escoger la fecha deseada.

Los horarios disponibles para las misas de quinceañeras son 11:00 a.m. y 1:00 p.m. en dia sábado.

Las quinceañeras deberán de asistir a una catequesis obligatoria para participar en la misa. Esta incluye también a los padres y padrinos de honor.

Se pide a los padres, padrinos, damas y chambelanes que reciban la Santa Comunión junto con la quinceañera el dia de la celebración. Por lo tanto deberán de buscar confesarse con anticipación y no dejarlo para el último día. Confesiones aquí en Madonna del Sasso son todos los sábados de las 2:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m - O por cita.

Se les pide una ofrenda de $500.00 para la celebración de la Quinceañera. Al tiempo de reservar la fecha deberán dar un depósito de $100.00. de otro modo no se podrá programar la celebración. La ofrenda deberá ser completada tres meses antes de la fecha fijada para la misa. Si la celebración es cancelada, NO SE REGRESARA EL DEPOSITO. 

La oficina no puede programar la Quinceañera hasta que los documentos sean recibidos que son: la Fe de Bautismo, Primera Comunión y el depósito de $100.00. Si la Quinceañera no hecho su Primera Comunión no va poder recibir la comunión, solamente una bendición.

EL ENSAYO: La fecha y el horario del ensayo se les darán a conocer en la semana de la celebración. A este ensayo deberán asistir todas las damas, chambelanes, padrinos, papás y la Quinceañera. Si usted no recibe una llamada antes del Miércoles anterior a la quinceañera puedes llamar a la oficina para avisar le al señor Palacios.

Favor de tomar nota: Tanto el coro como los arreglos florales en la iglesia serán proveídos por la parroquia. Durante la cuaresma no habrá flores en la iglesia.
